Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PinLore handles Google and Apple sign-in information, photos, device data, purchase information, marketplace listing/search context, and support messages used to provide the app.

Last updated: June 2, 2026

Introduction

Eversight ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PinLoremobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the App. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Account and Profile Information

If you sign in with Google or Apple, we may collect account identifiers, email address, name or display name, avatar or profile image if provided, authentication status, provider information, public profile settings, and related account information. The information we receive depends on your chosen provider, account settings, and authorization choices. We do not receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Photos and Images

When you use scan or identification features, we process photos you take with the camera or select from your photo library to provide Disney pin identification, visible condition notes, image-analysis context, and current marketplace listing/search results where available.

Collection and Scan Data

If you save pins, boards, wishlists, notes, or scan history, the App may store that information so you can revisit your collection and past results. If you use public profile or sharing features, selected profile, board, pin, wishlist, or scan result information may be visible to other users or public visitors according to your settings.

Device and Diagnostics Information

We may collect device model, operating system version, app version, crash logs, performance data, and similar diagnostics to maintain and improve the App.

Usage Data

We may collect information about features used, actions taken, and general app interaction patterns to improve functionality, reliability, and user experience.

Purchase Information

If you make an App Store purchase, payment is processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details. We may receive purchase status information needed to provide app functionality.

How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Create, authenticate, manage, and secure your account.
  • Provide pin identification, image-analysis context, marketplace listing/search context, and collection features.
  • Sync saved collections, boards, wishlists, watchlists, and profile information across devices.
  • Publish or share profile and collection information when you choose to use public or sharing features.
  • Improve image analysis, search, security, reliability, machine learning systems, and product performance.
  • Maintain, debug, secure, and improve the App.
  • Process purchase status where needed to provide app functionality.
  • Respond to support requests and user inquiries.
  • Analyze aggregate usage patterns and improve product quality.
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues.

Third-Party Services

We use Google and Apple for account authentication. PinLore may use third-party services, APIs, and platforms to process images, retrieve marketplace listing/search results, host content, provide analytics, and operate the App. This may include Gemini-based image analysis where applicable and the eBay API for current marketplace listing/search results where available. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies. Eversight is not responsible for third-party service availability, content, accuracy, or changes. References to third-party platforms do not imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or approval. App Store purchases are handled by Apple.

Data Storage and Security

Some collection and scan information may be stored on your device, and some information may be processed by our servers or service providers to deliver app functionality, sync account data, and support public or sharing features. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage method is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention and Account Deletion

If you delete content or request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information and content associated with your account from active systems within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, debugging, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, transaction records, or other purposes permitted by law. Backup copies may remain until overwritten through our normal backup cycle.

Public or shared content will be removed from PinLore-controlled public surfaces where reasonably possible, but copies saved, screenshotted, cached, or shared by other users or third parties may remain outside our control. We may continue to retain and use non-personal operational statistics that are not reasonably associated with an identifiable user or original photo, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Your Choices

You can:

  • Update certain account and profile information in the App where those controls are available.
  • Manage Google or Apple account permissions through the relevant provider's account settings.
  • Sign out of your account or request account deletion where supported by the App or by contacting us.
  • Delete local scan history, boards, notes, or collection data where the App provides that option.
  • Revoke camera or photo library permissions in your device settings.
  • Control public profile or sharing settings where the App provides those options.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
